Purezza

I first visited Purezza a year ago for my birthday and it’s now one of my favourite restaurants! It’s the UK’s first vegan pizzeria and the food is amazing. As a milk allergy sufferer, it’s SO nice to go out for dinner and have a whole range of options to choose from (there are only 4 things on the menu that I can’t eat)! I know that doesn’t sound like a big deal if you can eat whatever you want, but if you’ve got allergies trust me, it’s such a treat.

Also, it’s an absolute DREAM to eat in or order a takeaway and not have to worry about the risk of my food being cross contaminated and having a reaction! I usually get super anxious when eating out because of how many times I’ve been poisoned in the past. Also for some reason I get weirdly shy about it and more often than not Jake has to explain the situation to restaurant staff for me! 🤦🏽‍♀️ It’s something I’m working on. But dining with Purezza is an anxiety-free and thoroughly enjoyable experience.

For those of you who are gluten-free, there are only 4 things on the menu that can’t be made GF, and from browsing their website, it’s evident that this is super important to the company: “gluten-free food is also at the forefront of our innovation.” Every time I’ve had Purezza I’ve never had any issues! (Although always make your waiter aware as they do handle gluten in their kitchen).

The pizza dough is absolutely incredible 🤤 I miss real pizza so much and I find most GF substitutes to be such a let down, but Purezza pizza is the best that I’ve tried and is easily my favourite. The texture feels like a normal pizza and there’s loads of options toppings wise (Pesto is my go to!)

Would also highly recommend trying the Mac’n’Cheese and Salted Caramel Brownie. Last time I ordered pizza for dinner I ate the Salted Caramel Brownie for brekkie the next day -the best way to begin your Saturday! It’s fudgey, moist and 100% delightful.

I went for my birthday this year too and the whole experience was 10/10. The staff are super friendly and they even gave me a birthday dessert on the house 😋

All in all as you can probably tell I’m a big fan. I’m currently living in Swansea and there is no equivalent here (I’m hoping that will change in the future 🤞🏽), but I’m from London so I get to go back a lot! Also planning on relocating very soon which is exciting 👀

Purezza have stores in Camden and Brighton, and have two opening in Hove and Bristol later this year. I’m sure they will continue to grow, they’re such a unique and fantastic restaurant that it would be impossible for them not to.

Hope you enjoyed reading, feel free to email/DM me if you have any questions, or would like to chat 😊

Grace x
