Pho

Pho is by far one of my favourite restaurants. They serve a range of Vietnamese dishes, and are fantastic for those who can’t eat dairy and gluten. Vietnamese food itself tends to be fresh and naturally gluten free, due to the use of rice noodles and rice paper - great for those of us who can’t digest it!

Pho are dedicated to catering to those with allergies, and it’s one of the only places I can confidently eat at without severe anxiety. They are accredited by Coeliac UK, and their online menu has the option to select a filter to show you what’s dairy and gluten free (which is the most of the menu 🙌🏽) 🚫🌾🥛

Pho have a detailed allergen matrix online, and EVERYTHING on their Deliveroo menu is dairy and egg free. Via Deliveroo they can cater for allergies to egg, gluten and dairy, and it’s evident they genuinely care about catering for all.

Before turning pescatarian I tried their meat dishes, which taste incredible! The chicken wings are super well seasoned and SUCH a treat to be able to have something that’s crispy, tasty and gluten free 🍗

Pho also have a fantastic range of vegan dishes - their tofu is always packed full of flavour and cooked to perfection. They use ‘THIS™️ isn’t chicken’ too which is incredible - favourite fake chicken that I’ve tried so far! You can see it in the noodle dish to the right ➡️🌱

The staff are always super attentive and kind, which is what those of us with allergies need to relax and enjoy a meal.

All in all, Pho is a strong contender for those who are GF, DF, EF, veggie and vegan! They’ve got branches across the UK, and very conveniently there’s one round the corner from my flat - dreamy 🍜✨
